Matthew Troester, DO is pediatric neurologist specializing in epilepsy and sleep. He practices at Barrow Neurological Institute at Phoenix Children’s Hospital. Dr. Troester is quadruple board certified in Neurology with special qualification in Child Neurology, Clinical Neurophysiology, Epilepsy and Sleep Medicine via the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is co-director of the Comprehensive Sleep Medicine Program at Phoenix Children’s Hospital. Dr. Troester is a past member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) Childhood Sleep Disorders and Development Steering Committee. He was an author/member on the AASM task force regarding Pediatric Sleep Apnea Quality Measures and on the AASM/CDC Consensus Committee with respect to sleep duration and optimal health outcomes. Dr. Troester presently sits on the AASM Sleep Scoring Manual Editorial Board and is the current Chair of the AASM Annual Intensive Scoring Review Course.
