Michael A. Venditto, DO, FACOI, FCCP, FCPP, “COVID-19 and ARDS” and moderator of Saturday afternoon’s critical issues in healthcare session, is education program co-vice chair of POMA’s 112th Annual Clinical Assembly and Scientific Seminar. A professor in the internal medicine department and chairman of the division of pulmonary medicine at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM), Dr. Venditto is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary diseases and critical care medicine. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, and a 1977 graduate of PCOM, he completed an internship, internal medicine residency and pulmonary medicine fellowship at the Osteopathic Medical Center of Philadelphia. A fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Internists, the American College of Chest Physicians and the College of Physicians of Philadelphia, Dr. Venditto is a member of POMA, the American Osteopathic Association, the Philadelphia County Osteopathic Medical Society, the Pennsylvania Thoracic Society, the American Lung Association, the Pennsylvania Society of Pulmonary Diseases and the Society of Critical Care Medicine.
