Pragatheeshwar Thirunavukarasu, MD
Pragatheeshwar "Dr. Prag" Thirunavukarasu, MD, is an American Board of Surgery certified Complex General Surgical Oncologist and General Surgeon, a fellowship trained Hepatopancreaticobiliary Surgeon. He completed medical school at Madras Medical College, surgical internship at the University of Pennsylvania, general surgery residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, surgical oncology fellowship at Roswell Park Cancer Institute, and HPB surgery fellowship at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. He is now the Director of Surgical Oncology services at Cape Fear Valley Health System in North Carolina, and an Associate Professor of Surgery at Campbell University’s Jerry M Wallace School of Osteopathic Medicine.
