Ruth Martinez, MA
Ruth M. Martinez, M.A., is Executive Director of the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice. She has enjoyed a long career in public service with the Board. She also serves as Minnesota's Commissioner on the Inerstate Medical Licensure Compact Commission, where she chairs the Rules and Administrative Procedures Committee and serves on the Executive Committee. Ms. Martinez frequently represents the Board on task forces, work groups and coalistions, and collaborates with a broad range of stakeholders in health care regulation and elivery. She is actively involved with developmenmt and implementation of regulatory initiatives, programs and policies that enahnce patient safety, increase access to information and services, and improve process transparency.
