Shefali Ghandi-List, MD
Shefali Gandhi-List, MD is the Medical Director of the OB/GYN Hospitalist at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center in Phoenix and an employee of West Valley Women’s Care. She received her undergraduate education at Vanderbilt University, attended medical school at Washington University in St. Louis, and completed her OB/GYN residency at The Ohio State University Medical Center. After working in private practice for seven years in the San Francisco area, Dr. Gandhi-List became an OB/GYN Hospitalist to pursue her passion for promoting evidence-based maternity care and enhancing perinatal safety, and to take a more active role in system improvement at both the hospital and national levels. She is on the Board of Directors of the Society of OB/GYN Hospitalists, where she serves as Secretary and has served as a liaison member of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gyncologists Committee on Health Economics and Coding. Whenever she can escape Labor & Delivery, she enjoys traveling with her family and listening to live music and most of all sleeping.
