Timothy Borelli DO
Dr. Borelli is a native of South Portland, Maine and currently resides in Scarborough with his wife and 3 children. He attended Quinnipiac College in Hamden, CT receiving a B.A. degree in biology Pre-med/Pre-Professional. He attended Medical School at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and the subspecialty of Infectious Disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine. For the past 8 years he has served as the Medical Director of Infectious Diseases and Hospital Epidemiology as well as the Chair of the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program at MaineGeneral in Augusta. He also shares a passion for teaching and is an appointed faculty member as Clinical Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine for UNE COM. He routinely provides clinical teaching in Infectious Diseases for Maine-Dartmouth Family Residents, UNE COM students, Pharmacy Residents and Colby College students.
