In this presentation, Dr. Schwarze will give an overview of atrial fibrillation. He will discuss the data that supports the use of NOACs in the treatment of atrial fibrillation. He will discuss the 2019 recommendations for patients with atrial fibrillation and also identify patients at risk of stroke and systemic embolism which is secondary to atrial fibrillation.
